       The ten projects in this book are pretty basic in their design and execution. All blanks are 3/4" thick basswood. You can, if you chose to do so, use other types of wood. This is a good way to put your scrap pile to use. I take you step by step from the blank pattern to the finished ornament. Only 4 or 5 basic carving tools are used from start to finish. In the instructions, I try to keep them as straight forward and as uncomplicated as I can. The facing pages through out the book are left blank for your notes, sketches, etc.
